PROJECT: AMELAND

Ghiocel has signed a letter of intent with the municipal government of Ameland. Together with the community and partners we will investigate the utilization of geothermal heat as the sustainable energy source for the island.

Ghiocel and partners are in advanced conversations with Stadtwerke Borkum, to investigate the utilization of geothermal heat for both direct heat and power generation on the German island of Borkum.

Hydrogen - 'Green', 'GOLD' & 'WHITE'

Geothermal Energy can both produce the heat and electricity that would make 'green' hydrogen generation through electrolysis more efficient. Ghiocel Energy will investigate the opportunities of green hydrogen generation for the projects we engage in.
Ghiocel Energy has found promising prospects of natural existing 'gold' hydrogen reservoirs in the subsurface of Europe and Africa, by combining information from several data sources, including scientific publications and existing well data. We are currently evaluating if these gold hydrogen prospects would be able to produce in commercial quantities.
We are negotiating technology licences which would enable us to produce clean 'white' hydrogen from depleted and/or undeveloped oilfields both onshore & offshore, whilst sequestering CO2 and other greenhouse gasses safely underground.
