The geothermal project on the island of Ameland will focus to bring into realization the production of geothermal generated electricity and heating for the entire community on this beautiful island situated in the Dutch 'Waddenzee'. 

In this project we will be working with a combination of partners, including the council of Ameland, the Ameland Energy Co-operative (AEC) and Firan, an expert in (heat)network infrastructure. 

In Ameland, like our other projects, we view it of the utmost importance to be in  close co-operation with the local population and to be transparent of the operations we will be conducting. It is our goal to build long lasting relations.  This is something we strongly believe in and that we captured in our mission statement.
